Hospitality Interiors (HI), reports on what’s new in the contract interiors sector whether a product, or the latest interior design projects both in the UK and abroad.

This issue of HI has a decidedly strong emphasis towards summer, and we’ve put together a feature which looks at some of the best and most stylish outdoor furniture. Outdoors designer Philip Nixon answers our questions, and talks us through designing outdoor spaces for the hospitality sector.

The Audio Visual sector gets a look in too, with an interview with designer Alex Kravetz who discusses the options facing designers and specifiers when fitting out hotels and restaurants with AV equipment.

We’ve also reviewed The Dolder Grand in Zurich, the new suites at London’s Landmark hotel, and Sanctum Soho - All come from different schools, but are equally great examples of well designed hotels at the higher end of the market. MKV Design report on Radisson Blu Johannesburg, and Andels Berlin, by UK Architects Jestico+Whiles.

Abigail Chandler gives us an overview of this year’s Milan Furniture Fair, sharing a few personal favourites from and general opinion on the event. In the next issue we’ll be previewing some of the events that will be taking place during London Design Festival in September, accompanied by the usual selection of new restaurants, hotels and designer interviews. Until then, here’s the July issue, and continue enjoying the summer!
